Passed final exam and farewell to our trainee Lisa Ansaldi
Lisa Ansaldi started her apprenticeship as a wholesale management assistant with us in August 2021. In recent years, she has primarily supported the purchasing department. Lisa successfully passed her training exam last week, for which we would like to congratulate her. Unfortunately, Lisa is leaving our team due to a change of location. We wish her all the best for the future.
We welcome our new employee Ricarda Domokos
We are pleased to welcome Ricarda Domokos to the AGST team. Ricarda will be supporting us in both purchasing and sales. We wish her a good start with us.

New sales employee and new trainees
We are pleased to welcome three new members to the AGST team.
In the sales area, Eva Herzhoff supports us as a contact person in customer service and wire sales.
Two new trainees started their apprenticeship at AGST in August. Jakob Klug will learn the profession of industrial clerk with us and Johannes Jordan will complete his training as a warehouse logistics specialist.
We wish them a good start at AGST.
We say goodbye to our long-time employee Nelly Voth
Our long-time employee Nelly Voth unfortunately left us last week for private reasons.
Nelly had been part of our team since August 2011. She first completed her training with us, passing her intermediate examination with an above-average result.
After completing her apprenticeship, she was taken on as an employee and has since worked in the sales department.
The entire AGST team will miss Nelly and wishes her the best for the future.
AGST celebrates its 30th anniversary
On 13.08.1993 Bernd Hölzer founded the company AGST Stahlhandel (Aggerstahl) in Engelskirchen and thus laid the foundation for our present company. In the course of the last 30 years we have been able to expand steadily and in the meantime we are Europe's leading stockist of bendable stainless steel wires.

We welcome our new employees Torsten Schmitz and Simone Martinez
We are pleased to welcome two new colleagues, Torsten Schmitz and Simone Martinez. Torsten Schmitz is a computer specialist and will support us in the further optimisation of our processes. He will also be involved in the purchasing department. Simone Martinez works in sales and will take over the area of quality management in the coming months. We wish them both a good start in the AGST team.
AGST as a sponsor of the carnival club KG Närrische Oberberger
This year we were able to support the carnival club KG Närrische Oberberger as a sponsor. In addition to an advertisement in the 2023 Prince's Booklet, we also participated in the purchase of the association's jackets, which were worn at the carnival parade.

We welcome our new trainee as an industrial clerk
We welcome our new trainee Kim Steger. Mrs. Steger will get to know all departments of the company in the course of her training as an industrial clerk. We wish her every success and look forward to working together.
Successful trade fair appearance at the Wire & Tube in Düsseldorf
From 20.06. to 24.06. the Wire & Tube trade fair took place in Düsseldorf, where we participated as exhibitors again this year. We can look back on a successful trade fair appearance and would like to take this opportunity to thank the visitors to our stand.
AGST as a brand
AGST Draht & Biegetechnik GmbH is now the owner of the word mark AGST. This brand name was registered at the German Patent and Trademark Office on 27.04.2022.
Nina Stracke supports our team in purchasing and sales
Since the end of March, our team has been supported by Nina Stracke, who works in both the purchasing and sales departments. Ms Stracke was already employed with us from 2003 to 2012. She was one of the first trainees at AGST and later worked in various areas of our company. We are therefore very pleased to welcome Ms Stracke back to our team.

High-bay warehouse completed
Our high-bay warehouse, the construction of which began in December 2019, has now been completed. A total of 14 high shelves were installed, which consist of double shelves in the third hall. Thanks to the new high shelves, we were able to increase our storage capacity for stainless steel wire and at the same time help optimize our logistics processes.
New ISO 9001 certificate
We are pleased to have successfully obtained certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001 by the accreditation body of Bureau Vertias. Our processes, which are monitored by our quality management officer Nadine Kuhna, are subject to constant further development. With this year's recertification, we were awarded the ISO 9001 certificate for the sixth time in a row.
New working student supports the team
We are pleased to welcome another student trainee to the team in Marco Henschel. Marco is completing a degree in mechanical engineering at the TH Köln (Gummersbach campus) and will be able to deepen his knowledge in practice with us.
Wire bending parts - website in a new look
The in-house production of bent wire parts made of iron wire and stainless steel wire has long been an important area of our company. The website on this topic has now been completely redesigned and gives you an insight into our range and our production options.

Thomas André has been with the company for 20 years
We are pleased that we can celebrate another anniversary at the beginning of the year and congratulate our colleague Thomas André on his 20 years with the company.
Thomas André, who started working in our company in the spring of 2001, has been responsible for managing the warehouse for many years.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his many years of cooperation and we look forward to the future together.

We are pleased that we can celebrate twice a 20th anniversary this year.
Our employee Anja Heitzer started working in our company in the spring of 2000. A short time later, Birol Yilmaz started his employment at AGST as the first apprentice.
We congratulate both of them on their 20th anniversary, thank them for their responsible contribution to shaping our company and look forward to the future together.

New high shelves installed
The first high-bay racks were installed in the third warehouse, expanding our storage capacity and improving the logistics process.
Participation in a water dispenser for the Lindlar grammar school
AGST Draht und Biegetechnik GmbH participated as a sponsor in the acquisition of a new water dispenser for the Lindlar grammar school, which was put into operation on September 20th.

New paving and container space
In the course of the expansion of the hall, the access was paved along the entire sides of the building, which enabled direct delivery to the third hall. Furthermore, a space for containers could be set up in front of the hall.

New warehouse completed
The construction work to expand the warehouse, which began in May 2018, has been completed. The first products could already be stored here in December. Our warehouse now have a total capacity of more than 1500 tons.

The first products could be stored in the new hall. The construction work on the hall construction began in May of this year. The extension enables us to increase the storage capacity by around 1,000m².
New ISO certificate
We have had our quality management system audited according to the rules of ISO 9001 for 12 years now. The reviews are carried out in accordance with the applicable standards every three years by the accreditation body of the Bureau Vertias. Our quality management officer Nadine Kuhna ensures that all processes are subject to continuous further development.
In September it was possible for us for the fifth time in a row to obtain the successful certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001 in the 2015 edition.

Construction progress
The construction work to expand the warehouse, which began in May, is progressing and the construction of the hall can already be seen. Our storage capacity will be increased by around 1,000m² with the extension.

Successful trade fair appearance at WIRE 2018
AGST Draht- und Biegetechnik had a successful trade fair appearance at Wire 2018 in Düsseldorf. Wire is the largest trade fair of its kind for wire and cable and this year saw more than 71,500 trade visitors from 134 countries. We are already looking forward to the next WIRE, which will take place at the same location from March 30th to April 3rd, 2020.
